Basic Features
How Can I Redirect Users To A Specific Page After Magic Link Login?
Send Users To The Right Page After Login
Redirect After Login allows you to choose where the website should send visitors after they successfully log in using Magic Link.
Important: the plugin author lists Redirect After Login as a Pro feature, not a Lite feature. Keep this page if you want to document the upgrade path or compare Lite vs Pro, but do not describe it as part of the free version.
Instead of sending everyone to the default WordPress dashboard, you can send them to a page that matches your website flow.
Examples:
- Customer account page
- Member dashboard
- Welcome page
- Private content area
Why Redirecting Helps
Redirects help you keep the login experience focused.
Instead of dropping users on a generic dashboard, you can guide them to the page they actually need next.
That makes the login process feel more intentional and reduces confusion after authentication.
Why Use Login Redirect?
A custom redirect improves the login experience.
For example:
A customer logging into a store can directly reach their account page.
A member can directly access their dashboard.
A student can directly open their course area.
How To Enable
Go to:
Magic Link -> Settings -> Redirect
Enable Login Redirect.
Enter the page URL where you want to redirect after login.
Save changes.
How It Works
After a successful Magic Link login:
- The login link is verified.
- The account is logged in.
- The website automatically redirects to your selected page.
