How Can I Delete Multiple Activity Logs At Once?

Logify lets you quickly remove multiple activity log entries using the Delete Selected bulk action.

Instead of deleting each log individually, you can select multiple records and delete them all at once. This makes it easy to clean up test logs, remove unnecessary entries, or keep your activity log organized.

When Should I Use Delete Selected?

The Delete Selected action is useful when you only want to remove specific activity logs while keeping the rest of your audit history.

For example, you might want to:

  • Remove logs created during testing
  • Delete outdated or unnecessary records
  • Clean up your activity log without clearing everything
  • Keep only the activity that matters to you

How Do I Delete Multiple Activity Logs?

Go to:

LogifyActivity Log

Step 1: Select The Activity Logs

Use the checkbox beside each activity log entry that you want to delete.

To select every activity log currently displayed on the page, use the checkbox at the top of the table.

Note: The header checkbox only selects the logs shown on the current page, not activity logs on other pages.

Step 2: Choose The Bulk Action

Above the activity log table, open the Bulk Actions dropdown.

Select:

Delete Selected

Step 3: Apply The Action

Click the Apply button.

Logify immediately deletes the selected activity logs.

After the deletion is complete, you'll see a success message confirming that the selected logs have been removed.

What Happens After Deleting Activity Logs?

Once the logs are deleted:

  • The selected activity log entries are permanently removed.
  • All other activity logs remain unchanged.
  • New website activity continues to be logged as usual.

Can I Undo A Delete Selected Action?

No.

Deleting activity logs is permanent and cannot be undone through Logify.

Before deleting records, make sure you no longer need them for auditing, troubleshooting, or record keeping.

Does Delete Selected Remove Every Activity Log?

No.

Only the activity logs that you select are deleted.

If you want to remove additional logs, simply repeat the process for those entries.

Delete Selected vs Automatic Log Retention

Both features help manage your activity log, but they work differently.

Feature What It Does
Delete Selected Manually deletes the activity logs you choose.
Log Retention Period Automatically removes older activity logs after the retention period you configure.

Use Delete Selected when you want full control over which activity logs are removed.

Use Log Retention Period when you want Logify to automatically clean up older logs over time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I Delete Just One Activity Log?

Yes.

Simply select a single activity log using its checkbox, choose Delete Selected, and click Apply.

Does Deleting Activity Logs Affect My Website?

No.

Deleting activity logs only removes the recorded audit entries.

It does not delete users, posts, pages, plugins, settings, WooCommerce orders, or any other website data.

Why Can't I Select Every Log At Once?

The select-all checkbox only selects the activity logs currently displayed on the current page.

If your activity log spans multiple pages, you'll need to repeat the process on each page for the logs you want to remove.

What Should I Do Next?

If you regularly remove older activity logs, consider configuring Log Retention Period settings to automatically clean up outdated records and reduce manual maintenance.
